1. Overview of Services
1.1. Services Provided
We offer professional car detailing services, including cleaning, polishing, and restoring both the interior and exterior of vehicles.
1.2. Service Location
Services are performed at our location in Borculo, Michigan, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
2. Scheduling & Drop-Off
2.1. Appointment Scheduling
Appointments must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.
Customers are required to drop off their vehicle at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled service time.
If a vehicle is not dropped off at least 1 hour prior, we will consider it a no-show, and no refund will be issued. This policy helps us maintain our service timeline and respect the time of other customers.
Note: We’re human—and we truly appreciate your local support. If you're running a few minutes behind, just reach out and let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, and at our discretion, the cancellation or no-refund policy may be waived.
2.2. Payment Confirmation
We require the base detailing package ($300) to be paid for up front to lock in your appointment. Full payment will be required in order to pickup your vehicle. The down payment of $300 will be deducted from the remaining total of the services you purchased.
If your total detail costs $500, you'll pay $300 up front and $200 when the services are completed.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any unpaid appointments.
3. Payment & Fees
3.1. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods: credit card, debit card, and online payment platforms.
3.2. Pricing
The total cost will be provided at the time of booking. Additional fees may apply if the condition of the vehicle requires extra labor.
3.3. Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds are at our sole discretion and only granted under extenuating circumstances.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service. Failure to cancel within this window will result in no refund.
Vehicle Drop-Off Policy:
Customers may begin dropping off vehicles starting at 7:00 AM on the day of their appointment.
All vehicles must be parked on the black cement/tar area of the lot.
A fee may apply for vehicles that are not properly parked, as we must comply with township regulations.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Vehicle Pick-Up Policy:
Customers must pick up their vehicle no later than 6:00 PM on the same day the service is completed.
If a vehicle is not picked up by 6:00 PM, it will be held overnight, and a $150 per day storage fee will apply.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but this policy is necessary to comply with township regulations.
4. Customer Responsibilities
4.1. Vehicle Condition
Customers must ensure their vehicle is in reasonably clean, drivable, and safe condition.
Pre-existing damage should be documented by the Customer prior to drop-off.
We are not responsible for any damage that existed before drop-off.
4.2. Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for removing all personal belongings prior to drop-off.
- Any money found will be considered a tip for our staff.
- Personal items discovered will be set aside for customer collection.
- Items appearing to be garbage may be discarded without notice.
5. Before & After Photos
5.1. Photo Documentation
We take before-and-after photos (interior and all exterior sides) to document the vehicle’s condition and the results of our work.
These photos may be used for quality assurance and promotional purposes.
Royal Rinse Detailing owns the rights to these images.
5.2. Damage Claims
Customers must provide clear photographic evidence (before and after) to support any damage claims.
We are not liable for damages that cannot be substantiated.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. No Liability for Pre-Existing Conditions
We are not responsible for damages present before the vehicle was dropped off.
6.2. No Liability for Personal Items
We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items left in the vehicle.
6.3. Service-Related Damages
Our liability for any proven service-related damage is limited to either:
- The cost of the detailing service, or
- The actual cost of repairs,
whichever is lower, unless otherwise required by law.
7. Customer Satisfaction & Warranty
7.1. Satisfaction Guarantee
We strive to deliver high-quality results. If you are unsatisfied, please contact us immediately so we can address your concerns.
7.2. No Extended Warranties
We do not offer extended or additional warranties. All implied warranties are limited to the shortest period permitted under applicable law.
8. Use of Photographs for Promotional Purposes
8.1. Promotional Use
We may use non-identifying images of your vehicle for marketing purposes (e.g., website, social media, or advertising).
If you do not consent to this, please notify us in writing before or during vehicle drop-off.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
9.1. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9.2. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
Unresolved disputes will be handled in the courts located in Ottawa County, Michigan.
10. Amendments & Updates
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes become effective once posted on our website or communicated to the Customer.
Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any updates.
